Hi, I’m Lauren! I am a full-time freelance graphic designer based in the Charlotte, NC area. I have 12+ years of experience in all stages of print and digital marketing. Creating fun, energetic pieces that tell thoughtful and unique stories is what I am most passionate about. I also own and operate an Etsy business called Caffeinated Squirrel.
My focus is primarily graphics, print and web design, HTML, and email marketing. I have experience with a variety of design tools, software, and programs, and am always evolving my skills and learning new ones.
Bachelor of Fine Arts with a Studio Concentration in Graphic Design, minor in art history
Designed and created company logos, flyers, branding, banners, event collateral/displays, email marketing templates, news magazines, print campaigns, and invitations. Managed a large graphics library. Contributed to design and materials for online registration tools, downloadable apps, and product order portals. Worked closely with a diverse team of marketing managers, product managers, event managers, directors, company executives, and external vendors in a fast-paced environment to achieve project deadlines.
As a freelancer, I have had the opportunity to work with 25+ clients over the years. I am involved as little or as much as the client would like. My work includes, but is not limited to, design strategy and art direction, rebrands, logo creation, email and web design, digital ads and banners, custom icon creation, brochures, white papers, eBooks, flyers, data sheets, case studies, inserts, forms, presentations, stickers, posters, signs, clings, booth art, infographics, photo editing, print ads, social images and gifs, branded swag, tee shirt design, minor package design, minor video editing, and some HTML and CSS editing.
As an online business owner, I love connecting with people from all over the world and bringing a smile to someone’s face with my creations. Caffeinated Squirrel offers anything from logo design to event favors, to customized map trinkets. If you can think it up, I can probably bring it to life and deliver it.
